El ultimo adios was installed as a mural in the main SFAI quad. It was made to resemble the often rudimentary mexican sign making practice used to promote anything from cockfights to local bands and politicians. Imagining an unlikely scenario where it would be used to announce Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian, send-off show, this piece functions as a humorous loving tribute and/or and Ironic insult to the controversial king of high fashion.
